Hear The Wind In The Trees
And Know That There Is No Wind

Standing in the midst of the catacombs, Casper felt comfortable. It was quiet here, dark. His white fur would still show, but not so much as it did in the daylight. No, here he felt more like a nobody. Plus, perhaps the vixen he had scented wouldn't realize just how much wolf ran in his veins. Half of him in total. But it didn't matter to Casper, he was dog at heart. He took after his mother, after all. Roaming about down here, Casper felt at home. Sure, it was spooky, but it was chilly down here, pleasing to the skin. It didn't exactly smell great, but, let the secret be out, Casper smells very little. His true powers come from the eyes and ears. Yes, he could smell the fem, for she was quite obviously a dominant figure here, like himself. Her scent lay everywhere except in his land and the wolven land that lay further away.

Scanning the little room he was in, somewhere deep down, he realized that the fem probably wouldn't find him down here. It was dark, and whatever scent he had drug down here with him would be masked by the fetid odor of decay. Now, Casper wasn't a dark wolf, he just liked these kind of places. He believed that the dead knew what he was doing and that some of them sympathized with his situation. It was good to talk to those that wouldn't talk back. It was nice to not have judgement passed on you before someone met you. But, the fem wouldn't like it down here. Retracing his steps, he was soon in teh front area, just within the catacombs. The stench wasn't as bad here and the light was still dim. He would have preferred the pitch black of the deeper rooms though.

Casper knew that there were probably not any like him out there, so this would do. Standing in the darkest corner to escape the light that was pouring in, he let out a crisp bark, callling the fem to meet with him.
